Blackboard Theme Change

We have made changes to the visual theme of Blackboard which will make it more responsive when viewed from a mobile device. Along with that there some notable changes:

Modules have been re-arranged

The modules have been re-arranged so when in mobile view, the most important ones are near the top. This means that on normal desktop view:

  • Login module, traditionally in the right column, will appear in the top left column.
  • My Current Courses module, traditionally in the right column, will appear in the top left column.

Modules are now fixed

Modules were able to be moved prior to this theme change. Due to the ordering of the modules to display module near the top on mobile devices these menus need to be fixed.

Course buttons, course menu colours and course themes will be removed

The buttons, course menu layout as well as course menu colours and course themes will be removed. All course menus will now have a dark grey background with white text. This change will make courses have a more consistent look.
